Butler Portraits

This work was part of an art project from 2011 - 2013.

For the great project "extraordinary professions" by the artist Eva Leopoldi, we visited one of the best butler schools in the world, the international Butler Academy Valkenburg in the Netherlands. Students from all over the world learn and refine the profession of an butler here in an eight-week power course. Out of curiosity as to which faces are hidden behind the job description of the butler, it was our aim to portray the course participants.

This are the faces that will soon be caring for the well-being of the rich and famous in our society.
